The Research zone is where market intelligence is produced before it reaches your traders. Four AI agents work in parallel, each focused on a different dimension of the market. Their verdicts surface as quoted insights on animated agent cards, and each new verdict dispatches a bee animation that flies across the screen toward the Kolosseum Pit — carrying the signal to the hunters waiting there.
The Research zone requires level 1 to fully unlock. At level 0 you can see the zone preview in the Jungle Home, but the agent cards are gated until you reach level 1.

How verdicts work

Every 8–14 seconds a randomly selected agent fires a new verdict. When it does:
  1. The agent’s card glows with a pulsing color indicator and a fresh quote appears.
  2. A bee animation launches from the Research zone toward the Pit, visually carrying the signal.
  3. The verdict carries a confidence score. Approximately 80% of verdicts are accepted by the trade engine; the remaining 20% are rejected and fizzle without triggering a deployment.
  4. Accepted verdicts cause a trader to deploy from the Kamp yard into the Kolosseum roughly 1.5 seconds after the bee lands.
The glow fades after six seconds, marking the verdict as stale until the next cycle.

The four agents

Whisper monitors on-chain wallet behaviour — whale movements, sniper clusters, coordinated entries, and bridging activity — to surface smart money positioning before it becomes public knowledge.Role: Insider trackingExample verdicts:
  • “Whale moved. Three hops. Quiet about it.”
  • “Sniper cluster on entry. Coordinated.”
  • “Smart money entered $XYZ. Position size: heavy.”
  • “Bridge volume spiked. Origin obscured.”
Trading implication: A Whisper verdict is a high-conviction directional signal. Smart money accumulation or coordinated sniper activity often precedes a significant move. Treat Whisper alerts as urgency signals for your traders.
Scribe cross-references current market conditions against its archive of historical setups and cycle data. It reports pattern matches with historical win rates and projected outcomes.Role: Archived patternsExample verdicts:
  • “This setup matched 12 cycles ago. Win rate: 67%.”
  • “Cross-referenced. Outcome historically: +24% / 6h.”
  • “The scrolls warned of this divergence.”
  • “Recording anomaly. Significant.”
Trading implication: Scribe verdicts provide statistical grounding. A match with a historically strong setup reinforces signals from Oracle or Whisper. A divergence warning is a caution flag — especially useful for sizing down or tightening stops.
Signal processes cross-platform social data — X (Twitter), Telegram, and other sources — to measure mention velocity and sentiment polarity in real time. Its card includes a live polarity bar showing the balance between bullish and bearish sentiment.Role: Socials sentimentExample verdicts:
  • “X mentions +312% in 30min. Polarity: +0.78.”
  • “KOL chatter spike on $XYZ. Sentiment: bullish.”
  • “Telegram velocity: rising. Polarity flipping +.”
  • “Cross-platform alignment detected. High conviction.”
Polarity bar: The bar beneath Signal’s quote shows polarity from −1 (fully bearish) to +1 (fully bullish), with the velocity figure (mentions per 30 minutes) displayed alongside it. Green indicates bullish polarity above 0.2; red indicates bearish polarity below −0.2.Trading implication: Signal measures crowd energy. High velocity with strong positive polarity means a narrative is spreading fast — useful confirmation for Oracle and Whisper alerts. Rapidly flipping polarity (from negative to positive) can mark early momentum reversals.

Reading the agent cards

Each agent card displays:
  • Name and role — the agent’s identifier and analytical focus area.
  • Verdict quote — the current insight, rendered in italic script.
  • Fresh indicator — a pulsing dot in the card’s top-right corner while the verdict is new (fades after six seconds).
  • Polarity bar (Signal only) — a live sentiment gauge with polarity score and mention velocity.
Watch for multiple agents firing verdicts in quick succession. When Oracle, Whisper, and Signal all activate within a short window, the trade engine receives overlapping high-confidence signals — deployments to the Pit tend to follow rapidly.

From Research to the Pit

Every accepted verdict is the first step in a trade cycle:
1

Verdict fires

An agent produces a new verdict. Their card glows and the new quote appears.
2

Bee animation

The BeeOverlay spawns a bee that animates from the Research zone toward the Kolosseum Pit, visually representing the signal in transit.
3

Trader deploys

Approximately 1.5 seconds after the bee lands, a trader from the Kamp yard is deployed to the Pit to execute a hunt on the signalled token.
4

Trade closes

After 5–8 seconds of hunting, the trader returns to the yard and the result appears in the live trade ticker at the top of the Pit.
If all four traders are currently deployed in the Pit when a verdict fires, the signal is queued but no additional deployment happens until a trader returns to the yard. Sentinel always remains in the Pit regardless of trader availability.
