Replay mode works without any wallet. But to earn XP, participate in Paper mode’s live feed, and eventually reach Live mode, you need to connect a Phantom wallet to Kabal AI. This guide walks through the full process.

Why you need a wallet

Connecting your wallet does three things:
  • Unlocks XP earning — trade-close events credit XP to your account, which drives level progression and feature unlocks across the dashboard.
  • Enables Paper mode participation — while Paper mode itself uses simulated capital, connecting your wallet ties your session to your XP record.
  • Gates Live mode — Live trading requires a Phantom signature on each agent verdict. It is also locked behind level 12, so the wallet is a prerequisite for the journey even before you are ready to trade real capital.
Never share your seed phrase or private key with anyone. Kabal AI only ever requests a standard Phantom connection — it will never ask for your recovery phrase. If any page or prompt asks for your seed phrase, do not proceed.
1

Install Phantom

If you do not already have Phantom, install it from phantom.app. Phantom is available as a browser extension for Chrome, Brave, Firefox, and Edge, and as a mobile app for iOS and Android. After installing, create a new wallet or import an existing one. Keep your seed phrase stored securely offline — you will not need it again for normal use.
2

Open app.kabal.trade

Navigate to app.kabal.trade. This is the main hub and the designated entry point for wallet connection.Make sure the Phantom extension is active in your browser. You should see the Phantom icon in your browser toolbar. If the icon is greyed out, click it and unlock your wallet with your password first.
3

Click the Phantom connect button

On the app.kabal.trade landing page, locate the Phantom connect button and click it. Phantom will open a connection prompt in a pop-up window asking you to approve the connection to kabal.trade.Review the request and click Connect. No transaction is signed at this step — this is a read-only connection that shares only your public wallet address with the dashboard. After a moment, the dashboard displays your wallet address to confirm the connection succeeded.
During early access, the dashboard runs a whitelist check against your wallet address after you connect. If your address is on the approved list, you proceed to the full dashboard. If it is not yet approved, you will see a message indicating your access status.
4

Enter the dashboard

Once connected and verified, you can navigate to fun.kabal.trade for the full Jungle Home RPG experience, or stay on app.kabal.trade to explore news and announcements.Your XP and level are stored locally in your browser session. As you watch Paper mode sessions and trade-close events fire, XP accumulates automatically — wins award 12 XP and losses award 3 XP.

Reaching Live mode

Live mode — real wallet, real Solana, real PnL — requires level 12. At level 12 you need 7,200 XP total. The XpChip in the corner of the dashboard shows your current level and how much XP you need to reach the next unlock. Paper mode and Replay sessions are the primary way to accumulate XP before Live mode opens up.
Live mode executes real Solana transactions via Phantom signature on each agent verdict. Only proceed to Live mode when you understand the risks of automated trading with real capital.

Troubleshooting

“Phantom wallet not detected” — This error appears when the dashboard cannot find window.solana.isPhantom in your browser. Make sure the Phantom extension is installed, enabled for the current site, and that your wallet is unlocked before clicking connect. Connection prompt does not appear — Some browsers block pop-ups by default. Check your browser’s pop-up blocker settings and allow pop-ups from kabal.trade, then try connecting again. Wallet connects but access is not granted — During early access, connections are gated by a whitelist. If your address is not yet approved, your access is pending. Check the Kabal Telegram (t.me/Chris_Black) for information about whitelist onboarding. Want to disconnect — Disconnecting removes your session from the dashboard’s local storage. You can also disconnect from within the Phantom extension itself by revoking the site connection from your connected apps list.
